Disilon I.A. is Chlorhexidine and Cetrimide solution. Disilon I.A. is used in preoperative and post operative disinfection. It is active against gram positive and gram negative bacteria. Cetrimde is a surface active agent while Chlorhexidine is an established antiseptic.
Composition:
Cetrimide: 16% w/v
Chlorhexidine Gluconate solution: 7.5% v/v
Alcohol: 6 to 8% v/v
